I guess there isn't a "excuse" but I just did not feel like updating. Things have been pretty full on over the last few months. Personal training has been pretty good and I think I had succeeded to take my clients one step closer to their goals. It is hard to change your lifestyle but once you get there you realize that it is worth it.<p> </p><p> </p><div>My own training has been a bit of a struggle. I guess I get a bit lazy sometimes but if you want to maintain a lean, muscular physique 365 days a year you cannot afford being lazy. Tenacity is the key. When the football season finished I lost track a bit and I didn't enjoy spending all my time in the gym. Over the last few months I have done a bit of everything running, weights sessions, power training, some boxing and now I have finally started to enjoy the fitness lifestyle once more. I am trying to cook more healthy food and follow a set program for training.</div><div><br /></div><div>Another thing that has taken quite some time is training Loki our 9 month old amstaff. Accordingly to our dog behaviorist <a href="http://www.k9trainer.com.au/">Liarne Henry at a dogs life</a> he entered his teenage stage. Boisterous, arrogant and with more attitude than he can back up made his training a huge challenge. He is doing pretty well I assume and in a weeks time he will get company from his "little sister" Hua, a 8 week old Rhodesian Ridgeback. Why make things easy, when you can make it hard. :)</div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 269px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Loki1-745323.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/birtha11-750441.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>The reason I decided to write another entry was that I a couple of weeks ago did a shoot for Sporte Leisure. The crew was great and even though it was a long day time passed quickly. The photographer <a href="http://www.bigfishvc.com.au/">Warwick Gibson from Big Fish </a> did an amazing job. Yesterday I got this image forwarded to me. It is a shoot of their rain proof jackets. Not bad right?</div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 322px; height: 400px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/andreas-rain-portraitedit-714333.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-1715422298420443405?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-46715413507795007242010-01-19T23:08:00.000-08:002010-01-19T23:15:47.648-08:00Finally a pair of wheels:)<div style="text-align: left;">Just a quick not, after 6 years living in Sydney without a car I finally decided that I needed one. So a couple of days ago I picked a 2009 Subaru Impreza hatch. Yes, I know... a hatch is a bit of a family wagon but then again I can fit all my sport gear, surfboards, dog and a whole lot more in it.</div><div><br /></div><div><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 286px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/My-car-722438.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-4671541350779500724?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-50007566956491817492010-01-11T02:19:00.000-08:002010-01-11T05:18:28.508-08:00Chop-ChopLoki has just turned 6 months and tomorrow he is going to be neutered. I assume he won't appreciate it as we will need to keep him out of the water for the next 10 days. Over the last couple of months we have been going to a small local beach so he can have a play in the water. As you can see, he is a water boy.<div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 286px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Loki-6-months-794249.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><p> </p><div><br /></div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-5000756695649181749?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-65641852138983457892010-01-03T02:51:00.000-08:002010-01-03T03:42:46.209-08:002010As you might have noticed I have taken a fair break from my blog. So much have happened in the last few months and I must say that I am eager to find out what 2010 got to offer. I just came back from a longer christmas holiday in New Zealand. After working hard over the last year I felt like I deserved a break... and what a break I had :)<br /><div><br /></div><div>I took 10 days off during christmas and spent my time laying on the beach, surfing and eating some great food. In the photos below me and Camille were collecting mussels and oysters for that nights dinner. No food taste better than the one that you gather/fish or hunt yourself. Especially if the dinner consist of New Zealand green lip mussels and fresh oysters:)</div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 286px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Andreas-710940.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 286px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Camille-746515.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Happy New Year... 2010 is going to be great.</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-6564185213898345789?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-75322590392975611772009-10-16T03:11:00.000-07:002009-10-16T03:53:28.293-07:00Loki AKA LOCOI was starting to sick of this grey and rainy weather but the other day the sun finally showed itself and Loki and I went to the park. Over the last few weeks, me and Camille have tried to get Loki used to water as both of us surf and loves being on the beach. Before the video you can see Loki had never seen water outside the shower. At 13 weeks it was time... This is what happened the first time he got found a fountain..<div><br /></div><div>Loki maybe should be called Loco?</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style=" white-space: pre;font-size:-webkit-xxx-large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:130%;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style=" white-space: normal;font-size:16px;"><br /></span></span></span></span></div><div><br /></div><div><br /><br /><object width="500" height="405"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/d5Bw2VgQTXo&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999&border=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/d5Bw2VgQTXo&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="500" height="405"></embed></object></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-7532259039297561177?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-31589442130583984222009-10-09T04:01:00.001-07:002009-10-09T04:41:29.670-07:00Garden Man...Over the last couple of months I have tried to get our little "country house" in Darlinghurst in order. Dog, chickens and 8 gold fish. As the chickens ate a couple of plants I am now on the hunt for some chicken and dog proof plants.<br /><div><div><br /></div><div>In June I was home in Sweden. As we have been renovating the house for the last couple of years.... surely but slowly I decided it was about time to do something about the garden as well. I left this little "garden gift" to my parents before heading back to Aussie.</div><div><br /></div><div>So back Sydney I am now considering what I can do to my own little back yard. I know it is a long shoot but if anyone knows of any chicken proof plants let me know:) I read something about lavender, peppermint and rosemary which would be great as my cooking would improve at the same time.</div><div><br /></div><div>Here is a few photos during the making of the first veggie and flower bed... plus what it looked like a couple of months later.</div><div><br /></div><div><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Garden6-797461.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Garden5-754085.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Garden4-701161.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 286px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Garden2-746564.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 286px; height: 400px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Garden3-767419.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 286px; height: 400px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Garden1-721951.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-3158944213058398422?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-35712734668876693292009-10-03T04:25:00.000-07:002009-10-03T05:41:39.873-07:00A trip to Rebel SportEven though I worked as a model for a few years now iI always find it a bit weird seeing myself in advertising campaigns around town. The other day I was walking around in Broadway when I walked into Rebel Sport. <div><br /></div><div>I saw two jobs I've done in the past, first a older job for the last ski-season then a advertising job I did together with Reebok. It always makes me proud to see that the work I have put in results in something tangible like an poster or billboard.</div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 286px; height: 400px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/IMG_0235-766401.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 286px; height: 400px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/IMG_0184-779333.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 286px; height: 400px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/IMG_0186-704139.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-3571273466887669329?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-26322683296159646502009-09-28T04:21:00.000-07:002009-09-28T04:42:01.236-07:00Sixpack, Abs, washing board stomach... we all want it!!As you know I am working as a personal trainer at City Gym, Sydney. I love my job. I feel privileged to be able to work with what I love the most, training. I have been in the fitness industry for 14 years and can't see myself do anything else in the future.<div><br /></div><div>As the mercury is rising and the clothes gets lighter and lighter the gyms get more crowded for every day. Some people want to loose a few kilos, others put some muscle on but one thing most people have in common... ABS. A flat, tight midsection and in some cases, changing the keg for a nice cool six-pack before hitting the beach are high up on the wish-list.</div><div><br /></div><div>As I see it you got two options. One, wait for santa to arrive and hope that he will give you the six-pack you always wanted or two, get started with a new training and food regime.</div><div><br /></div><div>This is the reason why I have been asked to write an article about abs, and abs training for City Gym's magazine. I shot a couple of images a while ago to go with the story and the one below is one of them.</div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 286px; height: 400px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Abs_edit-746248.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>If you happen to live in Sydney, come past City Gym in a few weeks and grab yourself a copy of the magazine. Then if you still want that washboard stomach.. get started and do the hard yards.</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-2632268329615964650?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-31443548930230776292009-09-01T04:14:00.000-07:002009-09-01T04:32:56.764-07:00Extended family:)<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/IMG_0163-776459.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 278px; height: 400px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/IMG_0163-776166.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></a>As you know I have been doing my very best trying to create "Andreas Ark" in Darlinghurst. Love it! I had a good day today. I had a sleep-in until about 9 am before getting started with finishing my chicken coop. Yes, you heard right. We have decided to get some chickens.<div><br /></div><div>I will most likely get some bantam chickens to move in with me and Camille before Loki, our amstaff arrives this weekend. I will write more about this another time.</div><div><p> </p><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Chickencoop-752039.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 288px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Loki2-798766.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>In the afternoon I got a job for <a href="http://www.sportscraft.com.au/">Sportscraft</a>. Together with another 7 </div><div>models we showed their new collections on the runway. Great job and great clothes. After finishing just after 7 pm I headed straight to football training. It is only a week and a half until the season starts. I am excited to get into my first season of american football. It was a long time since I played a team sport and really enjoys the feeling of belonging to a team. It is true what they say. "together we can achieve more". Bring it on Lions!</div><div><br /></div><div>After training I met up with Camille for a late dinner at <a href="http://www.yoshinoya.com.au/Home.html">Yashinoya</a>. For you who do not know what it is. Get over to Oxford st, next to Gloria Jean's and order a gyu-don with an raw egg. Japanese fast-food at it's best.</div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-3560464126271511382?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-15706906138068843862009-08-21T04:23:00.000-07:002009-08-21T04:57:03.139-07:00Full on!!!As you know I come back from an overseas trip a couple of months ago. I decided to dig my head in and work as hard as I could to get back on track with my personal training, my own training and of course life in general.<div><br /></div><div>The last couple of weeks has been great but hectic. In the last few blog entries I have talked about Loki, our american staffie which soon is old enough to come home with us. This photo was taken by the breeder, zforce. He is now 7 weeks old and old 7 days away from coming to Sydney. <a href="http://www.camillezarabarlow.com">Camille</a> and I are collecting as much energy as we can as we are sure he will be more than a hand full:)</div><div><br /></div><div><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 386px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Loki7wks-787973.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div>It is interesting how once you immerse yourself in a certain field the snowball effect kicks in. I got a call from Chadwicks Models the other week. I got asked if I was keen to shoot a charity calender for RSPCA together with <a href="http://peteralexander.com.au/">Peter Alexander</a>. Of course I wanted to!!! Working with a great designer towards a good course is something I would do any day. I don't have any photos yet but keep your eyes open in the Peter Alexander shops during October as the calenders will be sold there. I will give you an update as soon as they hit the store.</div><div><br /></div><div>I have also had the pleasure to do some showings for Sportcraft, a shoot for reebok so work has been good. My latest job was a small featured extra roll in a Dominos tv-commercial. Hmmm almost forgot how tasty pizza can be. But you know what I think... you can eat everything, it is just a question about how much and how often.</div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 358px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Football_sweden-705280.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div>As you can see my days has been pretty full on and on top of this I have succeeded to make the american football team which I went to trails for. I got the taste for the sport when David, my younger brother who you can see in this photo (with the helmet in his hand) introduced me to Carlshamn Oak leaves during my last stay in Sweden. </div><div><br /></div><div>I now play tight-end for <a href="http://www.sydneyunigridiron.com/default.htm">Sydney University Lions.</a> I love being back playing sport and the challenge that comes with it. Our first "warm up" game is this weekend then we charge up to hit the season in a couple of weeks... Exciting! If you didn't know that you could play gridiron in Sydney, have a look at the 2008 highlights <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4eODnuIRIo">here.</a></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-1570690613806884386?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-70146816752032075272009-08-08T01:59:00.000-07:002009-08-08T02:04:17.438-07:00Our AmstaffWe have finally found out which one of the three males from zforce that will be ours in a few weeks. Here he is! In a couple of weeks we will be heading down towards Melbourne to pick him up. We still discussing names but so far I think we are looking at LOKI after the norse god, the god of mischief. <div><br /></div><div>On this photo he is just over 4 weeks old!<br /><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 286px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/DSC_1169crop-771735.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-7014681675203207527?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-25909656358626754952009-08-07T05:30:00.000-07:002009-08-07T05:32:48.783-07:00Swedish summer house<p> </p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px">So... after a few nights work and way too much time spent waiting for the paint to dry, our puppy’s swedish-summerhouse-kennel is finally finished. I must admit that I had a great time playing handy man. I believe that you will always be the person you grew up to be. In my case that is a country-town kind of guy who likes playing rough sports, going fishing and doing handy-man work.</span></p> <p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px"></span><br /></p> <p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px">I also realized that living in Sydney makes this kind of labour a bit harder than when you live in the country side. I did not have all the right tools and not the same plentiful supply of building materials that I normally would have living in Sweden but hey, I am pretty proud of the final result. </span></p> <p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px"></span><br /></p> <p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px">I can assure you that after my obsessive strive toward perfection and three solid coats of paint this kennel will withstand the signs of time pretty well. Unfortunately I have realized that the kennel is a bit on the small side as an Amstaff grows pretty solid. Especially as the breeder has told us that his bone structure is on the heavy side :) I might consider selling this beauty so I can buy some more material and make a bigger model.</span></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><br /></p> <p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px"></span><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 160px; height: 120px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Loki-House-792831.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p> <p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><br /></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><br /></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><br /></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><br /></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><br /></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><br /></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><br /></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><br /></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><br /></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px">If you know anyone who is interested in a hand-built swedish summer house for their dog, please let me know.</span></p><p> </p><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-2590965635862675495?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-35423029288694936372009-07-30T17:29:00.000-07:002009-07-30T17:38:07.963-07:00On our way to meet our puppy<div>I am sitting in the car on the way to see our puppy. To be able to buy a nice house which you can renovate and repaint. If I would have stayed in Jämshög, the little village where I grew up it wouldn't have been too hard. Living in Sydney makes things a bit more complicated, so I decided that if I couldn't have a house of my own, at least my little dog should get the opportunity. <div><br /></div><div>So I started to look for blue-prints on how to make the coolest dog kennel in Darlinghurst. I don't really see myself as an DIY-genius but I do think growing up on the country side you do learn a thing or two. Unfortunately as my family can assure you I never satisfy with average. It started in primary school when the kids at school made birdhouses. A week later I finished my 4 level birdhouse, a bird apartment block. During one summer I had four birds sharing the birdhouse. I considered myself be a head of time. I thought the same as I wanted to build a toy racing boat powered by a chain-saw engine.... my family stopped that one!</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>So here I was, thinking of what kind of dog kennel I could make. After a lots of thoughts (the solar powered built in fan and many more) I decided to go for a simple approach. I headed to Mitre 10 on oxford street to purchase the wood required. To my disappointment I found that they did not stock any wood in this particular store. I had a chat to the staff in the shop. A man in the shop said he also had a Staffie and had a dog kennel sitting at home that wasn't used. He offered it to me for free. (How often do you find that nice people in Sydney?? (Way the go Mitre 10) I bought some paint, paintbrushes and a few bits and pieces... no solar panels though.</div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 229px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Kennel_broken-768545.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Kennel-Base-768389.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 286px; height: 400px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Kennel-together-711321.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div>Once I got home I found out that it was not only the very "sharp" colorings and the name "ANGEL" above the entrance that needed a lipstick'n'rouge. Some of the wood was rotten and needed to be changed. The base of the kennel was rotten throughout so I had to make a new one. Of course bigger and better :) Just wait... I got an great idea in storage for preventing this to happen again. And no, it has nothing to do with the bright red color.</div><div><br /></div><div>I spent most of my saturday playing DIY-handy-man. As I am writing this the pain on the base is drying and all wood that needed to be changed is changed. Tomorrow I will continue my quest tomorrow after gridiron training... I will keep you updated on the progress.</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-3359582876237542536?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-24313709504398154622009-07-20T05:01:00.000-07:002009-07-20T05:37:01.081-07:00Amstaff Puppies<div style="text-align: left;">As I mentioned before Camille and I have been on a waiting list for an American Staffordshire terrier puppy. A few months ago we browsed the web trying to find a breeder we liked. We send out several requests but found one breeder that stood out from the rest, <a href="http://www.zforceamstaffs.com/">zforce</a>. Theirbitch Diva was exactly the kind of dog we where after. Have a look at their page and you realize why we liked them so much.</div><div><br /></div><div>Soon after we requested some more information from the breeder we received the great news that Diva was pregnant. She had been mated with Axl, another fantastic looking amstaff.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div>We where third in line so we where hoping for a big litter. In the start of july Diva got three males and four females. We do not know which of the three that will come home with us but all of them are fantastic. The photos below are from the first week. I can't wait until we'll be driving down towards Melbourne to meet Diva and the puppies for the first time in the end of this month. Then we have to wait until our little guy are 10 weeks old before he can come home with us.</div><div><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 143px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/IMG_5795-copy-734271.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 143px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/IMG_5757-copy-746185.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 143px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/IMG_5774-copy-787575.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-2431370950439815462?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-25720625128475148832009-07-19T20:08:00.000-07:002009-07-20T01:50:35.905-07:00Finally...<div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/DSC_0558-742615.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 393px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/DSC_0558-742598.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Wow, it has been so long since I last wrote a blog entry that I almost should introduce myself once again as you most likely forgot who I am. But then again, have a look at my <a href="http://www.andreaslundin.com/bio/index.shtml">Bio</a> and that should refresh your mind.<p> </p><div>So you might wonder what I have been up to? For you who do not know I was in Sweden and Germany for a few months for a holiday and at the same time I got some work done. I did a couple of catalogue shoots and got myself a new agency in Hamburg. Please check out <a href="http://modelteam-hamburg.de/">Model Team Hamburg.</a></div><div><br /></div><div>Once I came back from my relaxed life style it was time to settle into Sydney life style once again. Camille and I had left our small apartment in Potts Point as we where leaving to Sweden and started to look for a new place as soon as we came back to Sydney. We have wanted to get a dog for a long time and needed to find a place that was pet friendly... easier said than done. It took us a couple of weeks before we found a converted terrace house in Darlinghurst with a decent courtyard and enough space for the three of us.</div><div><br /></div><div>Over the last couple of weeks I have slowly got back into the gym. I still got some available time slots free if you are looking for a personal trainer. I have also got back on track with <a href="http://chadwickmodels.com/">Chadwick Models</a> in Sydney. Last week I got back to <a href="http://www.aussiebum.com/">aussieBum</a> to shoot some new products. Hopefully we will see some of those images on their website soon. I also got the chance to work with Reebok for a Rebel Sport shoot. I assume those images will be out to the spring running collection.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div>Other that that I have also got myself back into some serious training. Waffles, cakes, family dinners and parties does not make wonders for the body. But that is what you are supposed to do on your holiday, right? The only thing that do worry me is my rib, which I fractured in my attempt to gridiron in Sweden is not yet totally healed. It was more than four months ago but the recent X-ray shows a thickening of the 5th left rib.</div><div><a href="http://www.sydneyunigridiron.com/"><br /></a></div><div><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 113px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/SUSF-American-Football-web--726259.gif" border="0" alt="" /></div><div>Saying that, I am able to train sensible. I have over the last few weeks tried to qualify for a gridiron team in Sydney. <a href="http://www.sydneyunigridiron.com/">Sydney University Lions</a>. I love the training and as I never played gridiron before it has been a huge learning curve over the last couple of weeks. I will keep you updated on this one.</div><div><br /></div><div>So.... as I mentioned before I have been away from the blog for a while but is now ready to get into it once again. I have spent almost three months in Sweden and Germany but is now finally back in Sydney. I arrived a couple of days ago. As I left my small studio apartment and put all my furniture in storage I now live in a hotel meanwhile arranging new accommodation. This makes my bloging a bit more difficult.<div><br /></div><div>We have found a great pet-friendly place in Darlinghurst and with some luck I should be able to move in, in the start of next week. I am looking forward to get some more space, a bigger kitchen with gas cooking, a great court yard and lots of space in the bedroom.</div><div><br /></div><div>I promise that once I get some more space in the kitchen I will give you some more healthy meals. I have also spoken to <a href="http://www.enflexion.com.au">Drew at enflexion</a> so in the future the will be some changes to the blog so you easier will be able to find old blog entries such as the receipts and food tips n tricks.</div><div><br /></div><div>Keep your eyes open... I am back in town and ready to take on whatever the future has to offer.</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-5995153158684009388?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-68310310923048704582009-06-11T14:44:00.000-07:002009-06-11T15:01:00.155-07:00I am coming back to Sydney!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/picture087-732464.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/picture087-732463.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>It is time! Slowly I <br /></div><div>am starting to get the hang of it and I have now updated some of my galleries. Have a look at my <a href="http://www.andreaslundin.com/cgi-bin/cart/gallery.cgi?dis=Fitness">'fitness'</a> and <a href="http://www.andreaslundin.com/cgi-bin/cart/gallery.cgi?dis=Body">'body'</a> shoots. I will try to update all the galleries over the near future.</div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 245px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Boxing-752202.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 245px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/James-Body3-790980.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-2981171283949774865?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-60985472018969936352009-06-08T05:16:00.000-07:002009-06-08T06:07:07.424-07:00Triple LuckAs you know I have been fishing quite a bit since I got back to Sweden, and yes... I still love fishing those days I do not catch anything. Saying that, I LOVE the the days when I do. A couple of weeks ago I went to our local put-and-take lakes to teach Camille fly-fish. As we did not catch anything we decided to spend one more day at the lakes. The only way you can fail is by giving up:)<div><br /><div><img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 229px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Harasjomala1b-792128.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 229px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Harasjomala-745604.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /><p> </p><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>This particular day I was lucky. Only a couple of hours into our day I caught my first trout. Being just over a kilo it wasn't a giant but after my last attempt I was stoked that I finally succeeded to trick one of them.</div><div><br /></div><div>We had some grilled sausage (low fat of course) and a couple of cups of coffee. Just after lunch it was time for number two. It was a bit heavier than the first one but not in as good condition as the first one. Still twice the excitement:)</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 286px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Harasjomala4-767401.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div>As you might understand I was pretty happy about finally catch some fish and restore some of my lost ego after our pike fishing and a unsuccessful day of trout fishing. The sun was about to go down when...</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Number three. Not only did I catch some trout, I broke my own record of a days fishing in Harasjömåla put and take waters. After three fish it did not matter much that I lost another fish only minutes after landing my third one. Four trout would have been great but three is good enough to me.</div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 286px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Harasjomala3-710282.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div></div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-6098547201896993635?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-30216573301016942992009-06-02T00:43:00.001-07:002009-06-02T01:00:49.046-07:0010 Years Younger In 10 Days<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/10-years-younger-in-10-days-754634.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 39px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/10-years-younger-in-10-days-754625.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><br /><p> </p><br /><div>I just want to thank everyone who has written to me in regards to show 10 years younger in 10 days. Last time I was in Hamburg I went to see my new agent Model Team, Hamburg and some of their clients.<div><br /></div><div>Even though I grew up only a few hours away from Hamburg I have never been before and I must say that that was a mistake. I now put Hamburg as one of my new favorite cities. It could have something to do with I arrived with perfect timing of the arrival of summer but I honestly think that even during the coldest winter day or the rainiest autumn afternoon I would appreciate Hamburg for it's history, architecture and just plain great fun.<div><br /></div><div>I also realized that there are two thing the germans do better than most. Bread and beer. Unfortunately bread and beer isn't a fitness junkies best friend so moderation is the key. I guess it is lucky that I am not staying in europe for too long:)</div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 268px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Hamburg2-749804.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-6808605531039052101?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888039307205687957.post-44188262467076349622009-05-30T03:38:00.000-07:002009-05-30T08:31:34.708-07:00Fly fishing...I count myself as a pretty competitive person. In most cases I think this is a good trait. The only bad thing is that when I loose or somehow get beaten I tend to sulk. But then again, I do have a couple of things I enjoy doing where I am happy even though I am not winning. I mentioned a few month ago that I have taken up surfing which is one of those activities. The problem is, I am in sweden where there basically are no surf and spring equals freezing cold water.<p> </p><div>Flyfishing... that is another thing I really enjoy. To be out in the woods for hours even days. Sure, I love to catch a big fish but still this is one of those things I can spend the whole day doing and walk home empty handed and feel okay with it.</div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 286px;" src="http://www.andreaslundin.com/blog/uploaded_images/Flyfishing-720442.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Yesterday I went to the local put and take lakes in Olofström. Camille joined me for a whole day of practizing casting and attempt to catch a trout or two. The day started grey, some rain and rather windy. Some sandwiches and coffee later the weather changed for what you se on the pitcure. An awesome day... so even though we walked home empty I felt satisfied. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/888039307205687957-4418826246707634962?l=www.andreaslundin.com%2Fblog%2Findex.shtml' alt='' /></div>Andreas Lundinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10680073507411940385andreas@andreaslundin.com0
