Garden Man...

Over the last couple of months I have tried to get our little "country house" in Darlinghurst in order. Dog, chickens and 8 gold fish. As the chickens ate a couple of plants I am now on the hunt for some chicken and dog proof plants.

In June I was home in Sweden. As we have been renovating the house for the last couple of years.... surely but slowly I decided it was about time to do something about the garden as well. I left this little "garden gift" to my parents before heading back to Aussie.

So back Sydney I am now considering what I can do to my own little back yard. I know it is a long shoot but if anyone knows of any chicken proof plants let me know:) I read something about lavender, peppermint and rosemary which would be great as my cooking would improve at the same time.

Here is a few photos during the making of the first veggie and flower bed... plus what it looked like a couple of months later.

Yet another busy day:)

As I am writing this blog my head is buzzing and my body aches. Love it! I had a good day today. I had a sleep-in until about 9 am before getting started with finishing my chicken coop. Yes, you heard right. We have decided to get some chickens.

I will most likely get some bantam chickens to move in with me and Camille before Loki, our amstaff arrives this weekend. I will write more about this another time.

In the afternoon I got a job for Sportscraft. Together with another 7
models we showed their new collections on the runway. Great job and great clothes. After finishing just after 7 pm I headed straight to football training. It is only a week and a half until the season starts. I am excited to get into my first season of american football. It was a long time since I played a team sport and really enjoys the feeling of belonging to a team. It is true what they say. "together we can achieve more". Bring it on Lions!

After training I met up with Camille for a late dinner at Yashinoya. For you who do not know what it is. Get over to Oxford st, next to Gloria Jean's and order a gyu-don with an raw egg. Japanese fast-food at it's best.
